Dear
On a Personal Note
It's autumn in the northern hemisphere, and leaves are falling from the trees in increasing numbers.
One day, I stood watching a flurry... I noticed each little leaf landed ever so gently on a bed of other leaves. Not one landed with a bounce or thud. It was almost like Mother Earth had prepared a soft welcome.
I have been plagued by a bit of fatigue recently. On some days, it's a boat load, and on other days mild. "A bit of life stress colliding with peri-menopausal hormone changes", as my naturopath commented today.
I noticed in the past week that I had far too much that I still wanted to complete before the end of the year.
Some of my talents are super excited to take on the world, and finish everything (I'm looking at you, Responsibility and Achiever!) - especially if it will benefit other people. Most of my talents lie in the Relationship area - it's fulfilling and energizing for me to make a difference for others. As I'm discovering - up to a point.
In the past few days, I did a bit of tapping around the big mountain of tasks I need to tackle yet could not. I also asked a mentor for guidance. Here are my thoughts - perhaps they help you in some small way.
- Our talents will keep doing what they do best - and we need to learn to manage them well, or be at their peril
- How much we're able to manage, can vary from week to week, and month to month
- The only person who can do something about my task-mountain is me
- It might be really uncomfortable to let some of the things go that I had already committed to - and I'm learning to lean into the discomfort
- Some of them are probably not as important or urgent as I imagined
- I am no good to those around me if I keep up the pace I have in my fantasies!
- And maybe, some of those things that I need to let go at this time, will have a gentle, soft landing instead of the 'dull thud' that I'd imagined
Reflection:
- How's your energy level this time of year?
- Are there things that you can take off the priority list for now, give them a soft landing, and continue in the new year?
On a Business Note:
HSP's and Pain Workshop
I so appreciated connecting with the lovely participants. There was great feedback, and I'll host this workshop again in the New Year with some refinements. And.... I'm planning to host a group program in 2022 where we'll do 4 weeks of tapping through the issues that can keep pain in place.
How to Shine in your Business as a Sensitive Introvert Workshop
This is one of those 'leaves' that I'll need to let go of from my tree of 2021-tasks... and I hope you can give it a soft landing with me. If you expressed an interest: It's still very much on the cards, and I'm looking forward to it! I'll write about timing soon.
Can we Tap (with EFT) for 'Income' or Manifesting Money? Free video.
I had a valuable, lively discussion with Steve Wells, whom I've admired for 15 years!
He sent out a newsletter with a question he received about tapping for income... and his answer intrigued me. In our conversation, we talked about:
Money and manifesting, providing value, the value we offer is in the eyes of the beholder, our worth vs the value of our offers, what the process of working towards our 'manifesting' goals really entails, pointers for the layers we sometimes need to work through, thoughts on rich people and how they got there, and a whole lot of great stories and resources.
Warning: this might challenge some of your beliefs!
With love,
Liesel
