Dear
On a Personal Note
As you read this, I'm on a little walk somewhere in the beautiful Lake District in the UK.
We're having a mini break - Andrew is teaching a course in Newcastle on Wednesday and Thursday. I decided I'm not staying home this time, so we made it into a summer break. We'll spend 3 days between the stunning lakes and hills, then
Newcastle, and finally 2 days in the North York Moors, and the historic city of York itself.

When I lived in South Africa, I could only dream of these places... and now, it's a reality for me. I'm here, I can actually
visit.
This made me think how often our dreams DO come true - but not always in 'our timing'. Sometimes it takes a while longer - and it's important to recognise when they do materialise!
It's easy to glance past our successes and blessings. (Strangely, this doesn't feel like a 'success' to me,
but I didn't know what else to call it. A win, maybe?)
Sometimes our wins come with a little more effort than we'd originally thought. It took 7 years - last week we had our British Citizenship Ceremony. There were really hard times up to this point. So big win - whoohoo!
While I enjoy my break, a few previous articles and videos below.
When we have a physical issue, we're not only dealing with the physical symptoms. There are many emotional layers too, and this article describes some of those layers and what to do with them to give our body the best chance to heal.
I have been working with introverts and HSPs (highly sensitive persons) for many years. There
are many myths and misgivings about what it means to be an HSP. In this article I describe how HSPs and sensitive souls add value to the world and why it's so very important to me to support them to become their absolute best selves!
Have you struggled with a job, a piece of work, a project? My
struggle-experience recently with a project I was working on, might provide a lightbulb for your own difficulty - or ease!
If you're new to the HSP world - as a friend or family member or yourself - this conversation with a lovely HSP colleague has some great nuggets about what it
means.
Wishing you a week blessed with sparks of beautiful moments!
With love and kindness,
Liesel
Hi, I'm Liesel!
I'm an HSP introvert who loves supporting sensitive souls to go beyond what they thought possible for them.
