Hello - I need your help please! Introvert or Extrovert?

Published: Wed, 06/01/16

Hello, dear ,

From time to time I have the opportunity to pause, reflect on what's working, and then I can regroup and adjust. I hope you get those chances too!

We're growing, evolving human beings and not the same from year to year. Our interests change, our energy levels, our motivation... all are in constant flux, just like the seasons.

Today I'd love to ask your help since I feel called to branch out my work specifically to introverts, and the challenges they face.

As I'm sure you've experienced in your own life, a 'calling' arrives in our hearts and we need to head it. I was having conversations with some very dear and insightful friends over the past few weeks and it struck me how much of what I do or don't do, comes as a result of my introversion. And yes of course, it fits beautifully into my Gallup strengths and into my own issues I've been clearing out with EFT and the Sedona Method.

I love everyone of my clients who come to me for private sessions, and (surprise!!) it seems that most are introverts.

Some people don't think I'm introverted because I'm active on social media and have mainly conquered my fear of speaking in public.... but that's not really an indicator of introversion or extroversion!

Very briefly:
An introvert usually prefers heir own company (or the company of one other friend) to being in noisy places. They recharge their energy reserves in silence and solitude. Sometimes, they get judged for being aloof or shy, a worry-wart,  'odd' or nerdy. All they usually want is peace, quiet, a book and thinking time.

An extrovert usually recharges their energy among many other people. They need to hear loads of sounds, see interesting sights, feel excitement and buzz, and participate in experiences. They love relaxing in a social setting, being in the spotlight, and can be labeled as 'too noisy/loud',  impulsive or even arrogant.

None of the above is meant to make any one better or worse than the other. They're just 'different' - and we need differences in the world! Your biggest difference from me, is your biggest service to me. Isn't that a lovely mindset?

Whether you feel you're an introvert or extrovert, I'd love to hear from you in this short survey. Just a couple of questions to help me shape where to go next in my own work direction.

Your input will help me so much - and I'd love to offer each participant a special gift. There's a place in the survey to state your preference!
