Hello - What to do if the same old thing keeps happening in your life...

Published: Fri, 03/17/17

Dear ,
I was a tad concerned this past week. I need to get something off my chest - and then on to the beautiful interview with Marlene about fear, repeating patterns, limiting beliefs and love.

If you've known me for a while, and been a loyal subscriber (thank you!) you will have seen that my business has gone through a few changes over the past 11 years.

I started in 2005 with practicing Quantum-Touch and Reiki, then taught EFT with my awesome colleague Laurie Adams. I wrote a book in 2013 (No Problem. The Upside of Saying No) and focused on self-care for a good while.

As I peel my own layers of human-ness, I continue to find new places to serve that feel right for me.

Currently, my focus is to work with introverts, and the challenges they experience. I still use all my tools (EFT, coaching, Matrix Reimprinting, NLP, PSYCH-K, Gallup StrengthsFinder, self-care, boundaries and all the experience gathered over the past 11 years) in my work.

That does not mean if you're an extrovert and a loyal subscriber, I am not going to help you. Gosh, no. You're as welcome as ever!  The methods I use work for anybody. But my primary specialty is introverts and their particular challenges. I am one, of course, and understand and live these challenges too!

Why was I concerned?

Well, a subscriber reported my last newsletter as spam. Ouch. Truth is, I can only ever send you a message if you clicked on a link to confirm that you want to hear from me. It occurred to me that perhaps some peeps subscribed to hear about Quantum-Touch or EFT a good few years ago - and now I no longer seem to talk about that. I get that can lead to confusion!

So - here's a friendly invitation. If it no longer feels good to you to receive this newsletter, I give you full permission to wave goodbye. I'll feel a bit sad because I value connection, but I want you to be happy with your choices, and not be here out of obligation!

If you need pointers to other resources for any of the subjects I used to write about a lot, feel free to ask. I have a big network and can easily send you a few with an open, loving heart.

Now, on to the juicy topic I want to share with you!

Do the same problems keep cropping up in your life? Have you tried to make changes but then slipped back into old ways of being that keep you stuck and unhappy?

If you answered yes to either, listen to this beautiful interview with Marléne Rose Shaw. There will be some helpful tips and answers for you.

We discussed the symptoms of limiting beliefs, and how they form. Marléne let us in on the 4 most common of these beliefs that hold us back from having a life filled with joy and love, and how we keep perpetuating them. She mentioned 4 ways we can immediately start practicing self-love, even though we still have some ’emotional cleanup work’ to do.

She also gave us a great way to understand how EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) works, and the benefits of clearing up the emotional charge attached to events in the past.

She's a sweetheart and if you want to know more about her work, all her links are in the article
