I feel so much compassion and empathy every time I hear from an introvert how much it scares them to stand out, be in the spotlight, put herself out there, or do a talk in public.
I truly know what that feels like.
If a 0 is "I totally LOVE the spotlight, and I can stand up and do a talk in front of any audience with great ease and enjoyment!", and 10 is "I shiver, shake, stumble over words, feel nauseous and anxious and I'd rather eat a slimy slug"..... where are you?
Even though I can't stand the thought of slimy slugs either, until not very long ago I would absolutely consider it over the sleepless nights and (sometimes) terror I felt when I said "Yes" to present a talk or workshop.
I DID run workshops for years and still felt nauseous, anxious, had palpitations the night before (which made it impossible to sleep) and got up with a feeling of
dread on the morning of the event. I was exhausted before we even started!
Ugh!! Not a way to have an enjoyable experience.
Last year, that changed for me. I attended a workshop that shifted ALL of that. And it can for you too.
I'm so
looking forward to host Fall in Love with Presenting for Introverts (Introduction) for the second time this year.
In May this year, the participants made miraculous shifts, had beautiful aha moments and let go of SO MANY of their limits about public speaking, being in the spotlight, not being good enough, not being safe to "put themselves out there".
Would you like to experience that same freedom? What would change for you if the anxiety no longer had to determine what you said "yes" or "no" to?
When: We meet 4 times online, 2 hours each. (Yep, we don't play around - and that time flies.)
