If you're anything like me, I'm winding down for the festive season and am looking back at the year that's just whizzed by. It's our second Christmas in the UK... how did that happen??
It was a difficult year for me, and I've heard that from many of my clients, colleagues and friends. I'm wondering how 2018 treated you?
And.... there's is also so much that I'm grateful for.
You are one of them.
It would be pointless for me to send out an article, a video, an offer or my thoughts, if there was no-one to read them. Thank you, from my heart, for your presence in my community, for sticking with me, for reading, commenting and replying. There are so very many places you can spend your precious time and attention. I'm honoured you're here.
Festive Season Greetings
I wish you a wonderful, recharging festive season. If you celebrate Christmas, I wish you a blessed Christmas with renewed faith and love.
If you were one of the souls who completed the questionnaire I asked your help with last week - thank you! I appreciate your share and the careful thought you put into it. You provided me with wonderful insights and I'll be sure to use those in 2019!
If you'd still like to participate so I'm able to bring you articles, videos and value that's in alignment with what you need and want, the link is right here:
It requires your email address, so that you can receive a copy of your answers. You can always edit your responses again. I have an anonymous version, if you prefer that.
A sentimental thank-you gift for you,
In 2014 I hosted a Telesummit called "Savvy Self-Care Secrets". One of the people I interviewed then is now a precious friend - Annabel Fisher. She spoke so passionately about self-care, the effect on our bodies if we don't, and living in alignment with our "true self". She made a full recovery from ME (CFS) through EFT, and then became a Practitioner and Trainer herself.
I listened to it again this morning, and was so touched by the honest wisdom she shared in such an open-hearted way.
Annabel and I met in EFT circles around 2013, and we built our friendship online via FB and Skype. She was in Canada and I in South Africa... and in June of 2018, we finally had the good fortune to meet in person - in her country of birth, and my "new" country! If you want to read the full story, it's written up here.
Sadly, my beautiful friend now has only a short time to live. If you follow her on FB or Youtube, you will be aware of her journey with Ovarian Cancer. She's been an inspiration for thousands of people with the way she's written and spoken about her journey. She's now outlived her prognosis
by several weeks (about 9 I think). She keeps being "real" about the difficult life path she's on. I, and so many others, have learned much from her during the past few years.
Back to the gift for you:
Holidays can be stressful too, even though we look forward to them. Sometimes boundaries need to be put in place, and we need to be able to say "no" for self-preservation. Perhaps some of Annie's wisdom will come at the right time for you, too. Have a listen when you can - it's priceless wisdom about self-care, and what can happen if we neglect ourselves.
If you'd like to gift someone a book, here's the link to the her book she spoke about in the interview, published shortly after we spoke. It's available on Amazon: The Healing Game
✨✨ Again - I truly appreciate your presence in my community. May the holidays be a wonderful experience, and may you grow in wisdom and experience numerous blessings. ✨✨
