Dear
Blushing confession: I keep meaning to write every week and have no idea where the time goes. Well... actually - I DO know. It goes into all the things I'm doing instead of writing. Despite the apparent evidence, I AM working hard on being more consistent in many areas (like daily exercise, healthy eating and sleeping habits, and also newsletters :) ). I'm still very much in the "working at it" phase
and kind of wish I was "there" already!
Maybe these 2 articles on this very topic, can be helpful if you encounter something similar. It's my musings on making progress, as I'm noticing the change process that we all go through. I welcome your thoughts and input!
This article I wrote recently speaks about this exact thing - being desperate to "be done" with something while we're still going through the steps. Maybe it will be helpful for you to know you're not alone when you get impatient for results. The article offers healthy mindsets and action ideas so you can keep making progress.
If struggles like constant self-doubt, procrastination, negative self-talk, anxiety, needing to be perfect, avoiding conflict, continuously wondering “What will they think?” sound familiar to you, perhaps this article will give you a glimmer of hope.
I shared about creating an "outcome", and how it truly helps us to be clear on WHAT we want to see at the end of our journey. It's a lovely story about a real client and what she achieved in 6 months. It showed me again how important it was to have written down what she was struggling with, and what she wanted instead BEFORE we started.
If you have thoughts about these, I warmly invite you to comment underneath the article or reply to this email. I do love hearing from you!
