Dear
It suddenly turned into autumn in London after the summer seemed reluctant to leave. The stunning sunshine and blue skies last weekend made me long for my beautiful South Africa! It was Heritage Day (otherwise known as "braai day") in South Africa on Tuesday 24 September - I hope you enjoyed it, if you're a Saffa. (For the non-SA peeps - "braai" is similar to "bbq" -
a TRUE South African activity, in all weather!)
Here's what you can read about today:
1. Article: My blog interview with a write-coach-and-friend from the US
2. A chance to vote for new class topics
3. Self-Care class feedback
4. Article: Buried feelings never die
Article: Blog Interview with Liesel
Rochelle Melander helps people to get their books written. She's a prolific writer herself with 11 books under her belt! She teaches people how to blog a book. Recently she interviewed me because I happened to blog one of my books. She asked great questions like:
- What led you to write "No Problem. The Upside of Saying No"?
- I'm really interested in EFT and how it helps people. Can you talk a bit about EFT and how it can help people feel better? (A teaser: I included specific examples you can immediately use!)
- People who want to write need to be able to say no in order to carve out time to create. What are some of your top tips to help us set boundaries, set aside time to work on our art, and take care of ourselves?
Vote for new Class Topics
I do this work because I love, enjoy, and feel blessed by it. It's important for me to understand what topics will be valuable to introverts and sensitive souls. If you have 2 minutes, I'd really appreciate your input HERE - a few quick "ticks" will help me tremendously.
Self-Care For Sensitive People Class Feedback
It was a lot of fun, and filled with insights. I hosted the "Self-Care for Sensitive Souls". Here's some feedback (thank you Claire!)
"Liesel presents in such a relatable and inclusive way that makes every workshop a pleasure. Even the toughest of subjects is opened up gently and with genuine care and I feel comfortable to explore. "
The class will soon be available for self-study.
I was about to post this article on my website and discovered with a pounding heart that it's DOWN at the moment, ugh. I likely will not be able to have it rectified before Monday. So... imperfect action! If you're on FB, read here what happens when we bury
feelings.... or wait for next week when I trust I'll my blog will have been nursed back to health.
Thank you for being part of my community! Wishing you wellness, ease and kindness to yourself.
With love,
Liesel
