EFT is becoming so much more well-known than when I attended my first EFT class in 2006. It's wonderful to hear so many people talk about the benefits they've experienced by using it. It's even more heartening to see the published research studies.
We're all different. Some of us need facts and data before we even want to try something, while others dive in quickly and experiment.
Why is EFT one of my absolute go-to's in my every day life?
- It's a simple self-help method that helps me to stay calm and grounded even during the most trying times.
- Our brain cannot think clearly when we're stressed, despite our best intentions.
- EFT calms the part of the brain that causes 'fight, flight or freeze'.
- We can use it for self-help in the moment, and also for deeper work to let go of all sorts of limitations over the longer term.
- It's helped my family and friends to get out of a panic in a few short minutes.
- It's helped my clients to gain freedom around very sticky, painful, long-standing issues.
- It's helped me personally with things like shyness, almost constant anxiety, medical anxiety, not being able to set boundaries, feeling bad to say no, pricing my services, the fear of public speaking and hosting workshops, feeling guilty about not helping everyone all the time, reluctance to market my work, fears of all kinds (including about having the vaccine), getting to the root of
body issues (like stomach ache, my coccyx injury taking a long time to heal), resolving the trauma of accidents, and oh boy, so much more.
- I've been using it for 16 years and absolutely no other method has been such a steadfast, trusty companion that is always easy to use and available.
